Our staff are selected for their qualities of reliability, integrity, skill, empathy and professionalism.
Rosegarland is under new management since 2018 and appointed new manager Susan Kershaw.
Susan Kershaw Manager at Care home for past 3 years. She has been in the care industry for over 24 years.
All of our staff are subject to an enhanced DBS accompanied by outstanding references. New staff completes an induction program prior to commencing employment.
Most of the staff have been employed at the home for several years. Staff retention is very high with low levels of sickness. The staff here contribute to providing a stable, familiar, homely environment providing excellent person-centered care.
Staff training is continually ongoing with staff actively taking part in regular NCFE level 2/3 courses that support and are relevant to their own roles. Mandatory training is completed using an accredited e-learning system supported with face-to-face training.
All senior staff are trained to at least level 2 in Safe Handling and Administration of medicines, regular competency assessments are made.
Most of the staff here are NVQ level 2/3 trained, a care certificate is the minimum acceptance criteria for staff.
Since taking over the business, the team has put target input to make Rosegarland a Home from Home, and for this specific emphasis has been put to promote a personalized care approach.
